Standalone access control systems usually consist of only one or two readers or keypads connected to an electric lock of a door or gate. It is an offline access control system and the simplest way to secure your building, an area or a particular workroom. It is easy to create or delete users.
Standalone systems are available for internal and external doors.
Interior doors
For internal doors, we choose the Compact or Paxlock system.
The PAXTON Compact is a reader or keypad and a controller in one housing. The system is connected to the electric lock. So here you use an electronic key instead of traditional keys. Electronic keys can be easily programmed in and out.
The PAXTON Paxlock is to replace your current door hardware. The Paxlock door fitting has a reader and a controller. The system runs on batteries, making it completely wireless.
The Paxlock is a versatile access control system. It can be used as a standalone solution but can also serve as part of an online or web-based solution.
A Paxlock for internal and external doors is available.
Exterior doors
For external doors, we choose the Paxton Switch2 or Paxton Entry.
The Paxton Switch2 has a higher security level and consists of a separate Switch2 door controller and a reader.
The Switch2 door controller is placed on the inside of the door. The controller works in combination with the reader or keypad.
The Paxton Entry Door intercom system consists of an outdoor unit, door controller and indoor unit.
Besides intercom system, the Entry can also be used as an offline standalone access control system with the Compact card or tag.
Combined with the Paxton 10 web-based access control and video management system, the Entry can also be used fully online.
