Your alarm system can be connected to the Private Alarm Centre (PAC or control room).
The advantage of this is that the alarm system transmits any notification related to an alarm or malfunction directly to the 24/7 manned monitoring centre.
The monitoring station has a direct and constant connection to your alarm system. If it goes off, they immediately contact the key holder(s). In the event of an emergency, such as a robbery or fire outbreak, for example, the alarm centre will alert the emergency services.

Private emergency response centre (PAC)
SMC and AlarmMeldnet are also known as private alarm centres, or PAC for short. Their core task is the handling of alarm messages coming from alarm systems.
Police and fire services have their own control room which can be reached via the emergency number 112.
