The Improved Risk Classification 2.0 (VRKI for short) is a proven tool for determining the burglary risk of homes and commercial buildings. VAon this basis, the security measures to be taken are determined.

Homes and businesses may contain different types of goods. The attractiveness, value of the goods and where they are stored together determine the burglary risk/risk class your business or home falls into.

Part of the VRKI is a list of attractive items. This list includes goods and inventory - ranging from tools, electric bicycles, jewellery, art, to tobacco goods and solar panels - along with an indication of whether they are low, medium, high or very high attractive to criminals.

The risk class determines the type and severity of security measures the VRKI 2.0 suggests for your home or business.

The CCV manages the VRKI 2.0 on behalf of the Dutch Association of Insurers.

A VEB-certified company like LARCOZ is obliged to work in accordance with the VRKI guidelines. We apply these in every design and maintenance.
