Copper phase-out

KPN will stop copper service on 22 February 2023 at the first, over 2 million, addresses where fibre is now available. Telecom providers use these copper lines. So take action if you want to retain services such as safe and reliable alarm transmission to the monitoring centre.

End of 2G support

T-Mobile will stop supporting 2G for mobile communications from 1 June 2023. For you, the phase-out of the 2G network also means that support for other devices will stop. It is therefore advisable to replace M2M applications such as navigation and alarm notification that are some suitable for 2G. Opt for devices with at least 4G.
